Texas Justice of the Peace. Founded U.S. Court Security Concepts in 2013.
Randy Harris founded U.S. Court Security Concepts in 2013 after forty-five years in Texas law enforcement, five of them in command positions, and taught the forty-hour Court Security Specialist course across Texas and Oklahoma for eleven years.
He put together the committee that wrote the Court Security Specialist curriculum, researched what other states were doing, and set the standard with them. TCOLE issued the course numbers in 2011 and the Commission adopted the certification in 2013.
Thirty-four years of court security at the federal and local level, including planning and operations for the first post-9/11 terrorism trial, the Holy Land Foundation case in Dallas, and the Warren Jeffs trials in San Angelo.
Randy still teaches. The scenario material in the practical days is his, and he works the classes alongside Guy.

Eight years in the Army, then a Central Texas policing career: patrol to sergeant, Officer of the Year, and a seat on the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force after 9/11.
Two years of Department of State protective work overseas, then a decade in the security industry: director of operations for a tactical equipment manufacturer, program manager for a defense contractor in Africa, and seven years leading environmental health and safety and asset protection across a Fortune 500 company's Texas region.
Elected Texas constable. Guy still holds the office, still works the courts, and teaches this course.
